Commercial Recycling in Baltimore, MD

Baltimore moves cargo no one else does. The Port of Baltimore is the country's number-one port for autos and roll-on, roll-off freight and a major container gateway, and Tradepoint Atlantic has turned the old Sparrows Point steel mill into one of the East Coast's largest logistics hubs. All of it runs on corrugated and pallets. CRI services Baltimore accounts with the same single-point-of-contact relationship our direct-fleet customers get.

Built for the Port and Tradepoint Atlantic

Baltimore runs on its harbor. The Helen Delich Bentley Port of Baltimore is the nation's top port for autos and roll-on, roll-off cargo, moving roughly 700,000 vehicles a year, and its Seagirt Marine Terminal handles containers at 50-foot-deep berths. Tradepoint Atlantic has redeveloped the 3,300-acre Sparrows Point steel site into a marine, rail, and truck logistics hub, all tied into the I-95, I-695, I-70, and I-83 corridors and BWI air cargo.

The volume runs off the docks and the distribution floors. Container and roll-on, roll-off operations at the port and Seagirt, plus the fulfillment and distribution centers at Tradepoint Atlantic and along the I-95 and I-695 spine, run high-volume OCC, stretch film, and pallets. Food and spice processing and the legacy metalworking at Sparrows Point add packaging and ferrous and non-ferrous scrap. Clean cardboard graded right is rebate revenue, not a disposal cost.

CRI services Baltimore through our vetted partner network. The customer relationship runs end to end with CRI: one team, one invoice, one point of contact.

Baltimore Recycling, Common Questions

We run a distribution center at Tradepoint Atlantic or along I-95. Can CRI keep our dock clear at volume?

Yes. We size spotted trailers and compactors to your throughput, schedule swaps so the dock never backs up, and weigh every load on state-certified scales. Clean OCC ships mill-direct so it earns rebate value instead of becoming a disposal line item.

We use separate vendors for recycling and waste. Can CRI run it all?

Yes. CRI handles every stream your Baltimore site produces, OCC and paper, film, pallets, and metal, on one agreement with one invoice and one point of contact. No more chasing a different vendor for each material.

Can CRI report our diversion rate for sustainability goals?

Yes. You get monthly reporting on volumes, commodity revenue, and diversion rate, built for the ESG and finance teams that have to document it.
